There are various agitators used for reactors. Agitator material can be stainless steel 304, 316, hastelloy, nickel, PTFE or other material as per request.
Paddle Agitator: Very common mixing style, it includes Horizontal paddle, Inclined paddle, Straight paddle and Bend paddle; Paddle leaves quantity would be 2, 3 and 4; Sometimes, there are more than 1 paddle layers for better mixing. Mixing speed 200~1500r/min.
Impeller Agitator: Suitable for lower viscosity liquid mixing, have advantage of Low-shearing, High-cycle, High-speed and Low energy consumption. Mixing speed 200~1500r/min.
Belt Agitator: Suitable for high-viscosity liquid mixing, especially with high solid content, have strong mixing capacity, but it’s Low-shearing, Low-speed and High energy consumption. Mixing speed 60~80r/min.
Suction Agitator: Suitable for gas distribution, usually used in hydrogenation, oxidation reaction which with gas involved. Have advantage of Strong-suction, High-speed, Low-consumption, can increase mixing speed doubly. Mixing speed 600~1500r/min.
Box Agitator: Used for high viscosity liquid mixing, with box-shape-scraper for cleaning the material on inner kettle, it has Ellipse bottom, 90 degree cone shape bottom, 120 degree cone shape bottom, or anchor shape. Mixing speed 60~80 r/min.
